Having failed to put on a show in 2024, partly due to the Exhibition Manager (me) going on strike.  However, this year, thanks to Allan and Sean, we are going to do better.  We’re calling it an Open Day, as all the exhibits come from club members, but there are enough exhibits to make a very reasonable little show.

This year we will be showing both an N-mod (4-track) and NCI (2-track) modular layout.  We then add six layouts of various sizes.

No trade as such, but I understand that due to a good turnout or two, the ESNG Club Shop will have some very nice pre-loved bargains for sale.  And Neil’s Emporium always comes up with some real gems.

I’m glad we’re back on the exhibition circuit again.  I thoroughly enjoy the day itself, and even the preparation and tidying up after.  It’s the hunting and booking of layouts and traders that I find hard work.  Especially when they drop out at the last minute – usually for a good reason.
