Unfortunately, though I saw a number of trains visiting our daughter in Italy, I never had my camera at the right time. So I’ll just have to post a few pictures of Lake Iseo and Monte Isola……

Back to railways…… I’ve always been fascinated by the LBSCR overhead electrics…. Wandsworth Road in 1915, and constructing cantilever overhead at Clapham Junction.

Java in 1975. There were some lovely narrow gauge locomotives in Indonesia at that time.

Mind you, East Croydon in 1895 was more interesting than in 2026….
