Last meeting of the year, and a very respectable 10 members turned out just before Christmas – or just to avoid Christmas? Five of us spent the afternoon working on the new fiddle yard, and I the electrics are now working on both end boards. One more session, and I think that it will be ready for a full test on a club night – now that is testing to destruction!
The usual suspects were out and about….
I tested my new Rapido Class 28’s before Maxine wraps them for Christmas. Both ran perfectly out of the box. A lovely model of an odd, but rather interesting prototype. Looks like it will be more reliable than the prototype, that often ran double-headed in case one broke down.
Allan was also running his Christmas present and some other locos on a long steel train.
Lucas’ Eurostar was clocking up the miles….
Some European elegance from Mr Atfield….
Chris had completed his NGS Seacow kits.
Finally, Sean’s modern German unit.
And that’s it for club meetings till next year.
