I turned down a day out with the lads to the Brockenhurst show. My excuses were poor – I’d just been on holiday near there, possible Bank Holiday traffic, and I wanted to watch the Cup Final. I gather it was a good little show, and a fine time was had by all. So here are a few of Allan’s photos to prove the point….
St Holdens (EM) is a neat ex-GER secondary line. How could it be anything else with a name like that?
Fence Houses (NCB) (OO) has been at a number of shows recently, and captures the industrial coal railways very well. A task made easier by the recent release of several types of industrial tank engines.
Ramsgate Sands (N) is based on the old Ramsgate Harbour station, that did have a turntable at the end of the line, and a backdrop of chalk cliffs.

Two shed layouts. The ‘pointless’ Cwmbridge (OO) and Elmbridge MPD (N).

Another MPD, Fareford Depot
Grafty Green (O)

To finish today, two micro layouts with imposing names! Castell Bevan Castle (OO9) and Ipleigh Castle (OO).
