Farnham MRC exhibition 2025 #1

Another exhibition missed!   Both Saturday and Sunday were busy so I failed to get there.  And this show definitely deserves two posts, thanks to Allan again.

I especially wanted to see the 2mm room.  We’ll start there with Jerry Clifford’s lovely Tucking Mill and the Wharf extension.

Having finished ‘Freshwater’, Ian Morgan has stayed on the Isle of Wight with ‘North Quay’.  A work in progress, but coming along nicely.

The historic Rydes Vale.  A 60 year old 2mm pioneer, and still working well.

Little and large.  The tiny Port Jubilee, and the rather larger Okehampton under construction.

On to N gauge, with the Royal Albert Bridge.

The excellent Brinklow.

Ashfield, riffing Ashburton.

There were some good narrow gauge layouts on show.  More next time, but I especially liked the Clyre Valley Railway (OO9).  Set in Cornwall, this is a main line narrow gauge line, and looks like a real railway.
