Bluebell Railway ‘Giants of Steam’

Friday 17th October, #1 son Michael paid a quick visit to the Bluebell, as a punter rather than a volunteer, to see their ‘Giants of Steam’.  All four locomotives in action were ‘new-builds’.  He managed a ride behind all four locomotives, and finished the afternoon with a double-headed train led by 4-4-2 Beachy Head and 4-6-2 Tornado.  Something that genuinely never happened in real life!

Here’s a quick photo-dump of Michael’s pictures from the afternoon.
