ESNG meeting – 10 May 2023
The heavens opened at 7pm, but we still got seven members out to run a few trains. As is often the case, there was as much talking going on as running, but a few interesting trains appeared. The usual layout … Continue reading
ESNG Exhibition 2023
One show done and dusted. And on to the next one. A little editing produced a brand new, and technicolour, flyer. Everything else seems to be coming together well enough….

ESNG meeting – 23 April 2023
Another meeting, but another six members (plus a guest) turned up. The usual layout was set up – this arrangement gives some interesting running, but is quick to put together. I have seen the future, and it is PINK (thank … Continue reading
ESNG meeting – 19 April 2023
Not a bad turnout for the Wednesday after the Open Day – six members attended. We spent a little time sorting out the show cash balance, and paying members for sales from the club shop. Finances, to my amazement, look … Continue reading
ESNG Open Day 2023 (again)

ESNG Open Day 2023

ESNG meeting – 9 April 2023
I wasn’t able to stay at Sunday’s meeting, but there were five or so members present, who had a quiet afternoon playing trains. Allan channelled his inner Brian, and took this short video…. I was rather taken by this photo, … Continue reading
ESNG meeting – 5 April 2023
A little experiment at this week’s meeting – running trains from 2-9pm, with a pause for fish and chips early evening. We were also going to do some wiring, but Mr Atfield wasn’t able to get to the meeting with … Continue reading
ESNG meeting – 26 March 2023
A pleasant Sunday afternoon with six members present and sometimes correct. The usual layout was quickly set up, and trains running. Plenty of variety today. Swiss trains from Allan and Richard…. Colourful American steam from Simon…. Phil ran a mail … Continue reading
ESNG meeting – 15 March 2023
Seven members again tonight, and a relaxed evening playing trains. The treasurer returned after a touch of covid, but it must have affected him as he forgot to collect the subs from two members. It doesn’t take long to set … Continue reading
