Christmas trees bound for Texas in November 1964. SP box cars loaded by conveyor at Kirk, Minnesota, Christmas tree grower. The company had 1,750 feet of rail spur and could load 32 cars. They used 180 railroad cars in 1964 to ship nearly 200,000 trees to Texas and other states.
