And so to the London trolleybuses. Wonderful machines, and perhaps most surprisingly, there were only minor detail changes (except a couple of experimental designs) through the whole fleet. I hadn’t realised that replacing trams with trolleybuses was completed geographically. Trolleybuses took over north of the Thames, whilst trams battled on south of the river. Lowestoft seemed to have four examples running when Allan was there. So today we present trolleybuses….
