Scaleforum 2020 – online
I am a firm believer in looking at other scales other than ‘N’. And I can’t cope with criticisms of exhibitions that moan about, “Not much ‘N’ there.” Surely, one can take inspiration from any scale or gauge, and they … Continue reading

N Gauge SouthEast – 2021 – abandoned I’m sorry to have to announce that we have decided to abandon the 2021 NGSE show, originally planned for April 2021. This is a long way ahead, and it was not a happy … Continue reading

Down by the seaside
We’ll start the post on the beach at Lancing. A grey day, but bracing rather than unpleasant. But why was I there – and what’s this doing in a railway blog? Well, the beach car park was recommended for the … Continue reading

NGSE – 2020 – Exactly a month to go!
All is on track for NGSE 2020. We’ve lost a trader, but replaced them with two others. We’ve obviously had a couple of questions about coronavirus. Obviously this needs monitoring carefully, but we’ll be going ahead unless the number of … Continue reading

The Alton exhibition 2020
A visit to the Alton MRG show last Saturday. I realised that I hadn’t been to this show since 2016 or 2017 – I recall that last year’s show was hit by snow! It turned out to be an expensive … Continue reading
